Ethics and Compliance at Lineage

Lineage’s Values and its Code of Conduct

At Lineage, our six values - safe, trust, respect, innovation, bold, and servant leadership - define who we are as a company and guide our actions as we reimagine the journey of food.

“Our values define what is important to us and drive Lineage’s success without compromising our integrity. “ Greg Lehmkuhl, President and CEO

Our Code of Conduct takes our values and translates them to action by providing our employees with guidance on Lineage’s expectations on how to conduct business in a manner that complies with law, respects the people we work with and communities we work in and protects the integrity of the food supply chain.

Our Code of Conduct applies to all officers, directors, and employees.

Gender Pay Gap

Consistent with UK government regulations, we have conducted a Gender Pay Gap analysis for our UK employees. The “gender pay gap” is the difference between the average hourly earnings of men and women, irrespective of role or seniority, expressed as a percentage of the hourly pay rate of male employees. It is reported on a mean (average) basis, and median (middle point) basis.

Health, Safety, and Sustainability

Innovation is at the core of everything we do. A team of data scientists, physicists, engineers, mathematicians, biologists and others, drive our innovative use of data and technology in the supply chain and more generally in the journey of food. Our cutting-edge initiatives have resulted in more efficient energy usage and safer food storage practices.

Food Safety

Safety, Quality and Compliance Standards

Lineage specializes in food storage, transport, processing, packaging, and distribution. Food safety and product integrity are critical components of the services we provide. We comply with regulations from the FDA, USDA, and state and local regulatory bodies, and each of our sites must comply with the requirements contained within the Food Safety Modernization Act. Additionally, we hold ourselves accountable to the highest standards of product distribution as evidenced by our adherence to a number of schemes all verified by third party audits, including BRC Accredited Certification, Good Distribution Practices (GDP) Audit Certification, and our adherence to the Safe Quality Food scheme, all consistent with the Global Food Safety Initiative. Our compliance with these standards allows our customers to integrate with those facilities that are consistent with their own operations so that we can serve as an extension of customer adopted programs and approach. Every aspect of the company, from employees on the floor, to our senior executives, contributes to our commitment to protecting the integrity of our customer’s temperature-controlled supply chains and safely preserving and optimizing the distribution of food throughout the world.
